Voting History Screen

Fig. 4

The Voting History Screen is an HMSL Custom Screen designed for Lottery. A lottery is called every thirty seconds, resulting in many lotteries over the course of the piece. At any time, a participant may examine the balloting record of all participants for any previous lottery. Here the record for the fourth lottery of the piece is displayed. Nick submitted 7 ballots to this lottery, Phil submitted 3, Larry submitted 2, and Robert chose not to participate. The screen shows that Nick won. Note that whatever Sound State Nick chose for this lottery was scaled down by factor of 12, which is the sum of ballots.
